HR Director will lead a team, whose mission is to build and grow the world's most innovative workforce. Key responsibilities include the development of our HR strategy, driving a "Lavin" experience while supporting the business in talent acquisition, retention, organizational design, effectiveness, culture acceleration, succession planning, change management, and training. The HR Director understands the business beyond the HR function and influences the overall organization to ensure superior operations and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

-Supporting leaders in organizational development & succession planning and talent management

- Driving the implementation of strategic competence development plans and promoting different models of learning and different learning solutions

- Ensuring the quality of HR data and HR products, tools, and process implementation

- Driving business-specific recruitment/development/retention plans. Lead and design recruiting processes. Develop our hiring brand, sourcing strategy, and recruiting to increase the number of candidates in our pipeline

- Driving and promoting the company’s culture and values

- Design a best-in-class career path for every team member. Work with every manager to improve job ladders and ensure that these are well-communicated. Improve employee clarity on career growth

- Coordinate employee development and performance reviews

- Research and propose tier one benefits packages

- Ensure that all human resources policies and best practices are well-documented and communicated across the organization

- Successfully execute special projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities, communicating, and coordinating requirements, evaluating milestones driving towards results; evaluating optional courses of action; adapting activities due to changing assumptions and direction.

- Lead the incorporation of the Company’s vision, purpose, and values into the management practices of the team he/she supports.

- Managing all responsibilities through strong project management approach, tools and deadline driven philosophy.

-Lead the template management, content collection and presentation material creation for monthly executive dashboards

- Drive diversity, wellness, people analytics, and employee engagement initiatives

- Deliver HR training and sharing of best practices

- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities

- Create period pulse surveys for employees and gather data to assist the HR Department in determining initiatives that will help further establish the company as an employer of choice.


Job Requirements

  • Have worked in a senior people role at growth-stage startups for 7+ years.
  • Dynamic and outgoing.
  • Organized and structured.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management in a persuasive manner
  • Strong proactivity and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Possess sense of urgency, intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information and propose recommendations
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, quickly assess situations, and capitalize on change
  • Individual must be results driven, have attention to detail, has passion for driving best practices, and skilled at diplomatically breaking down barriers and obstacles
  • Demonstrated experience as a key contributing member of a high performing organization
  • Works well individually and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation
